New Office
Barrett Solutions celebrates a major milestone with a new office and a growing team of eight.
It feels surreal. Welcome to Barrett Solutions' new office. We’re up to eight people now, which is absolutely ridiculous.
1.5 years ago, I was let go from my first software job. It was an incredibly hard day, but likely the most important of my life. I had already been working nights and weekends on what would become my firm. That day, I went straight from the office to the space I was renting at Bamboo. A few hours later, I realized there was nothing I wanted more than the risk of building something of my own. I called my parents and friends to tell them I had been let go and not to worry because I was going all in.
I’m deeply grateful to the mentors, friends, and early clients who believed in a recently let-go, overly ambitious kid. Now, with an amazing team in place, I can’t wait to prove what’s possible this year.
